We're back.
In 2020, when everything was being canceled, I joked to a girlfriend, "They'd better not cancel Christmas." We laughed. Then it hit me: for so many families, Christmas might actually be canceled.
As a child advocate, I couldn't bear the thought of a child waking up on Christmas morning to nothing and wondering if they'd landed on the naughty list. And my momma heart broke for the parents. As a mom of five, I know Christmas is wonderful, but it can also be really stressful.
So I bought ChristmasIsNotCancelled.com (yes, "Cancelled" with two L's, like Lilley. Very British, very posh. Pinkies up!) and dreamed up a campaign to give 10,000 toys through Toys for Tots.
We hit that goal, and then some. But toys weren't the only thing that showed up that Christmas. You did. Year after year, you kept showing up, and somewhere along the way, we became a family. Together we grew to give about 25,000 toys and books every Christmas, and earned national recognition from Toys for Tots and Childhelp.
After a few years away, God gave me my own Christmas miracle, and Christmas Is Not Cancelled has come home. I can't wait to make Christmas memories with you again.
Love,
